Team

Owner | Rebecca Parisi

Rebecca Parisi, founder of Citrine Elephant Publishing, is a writer, artist, and legal professional with advanced degrees in business, entertainment, and law, including an LL.M. in Antitrust and Economics. With over 20 years of experience in the entertainment industry, she created Citrine Elephant as a space where imagination meets professionalism, bringing together authors, musicians, and readers to share stories that uplift, heal, and connect.

Copy Editor | John Nelson

Born and raised in the state of Minnesota suffering through some very cold winters, and bomber sized mosquitoes in the summer, I had plenty of time to learn how to read. Writing a book whether nonfiction or fiction requires authenticity. Whichever genre is pursued it should come from the mind and the soul of the author. The story being told is like composing music. Chapters are like verses, and the storyline should have tone, cohesive composition, beginning and ending. Where the author places crescendo(s) will keep the reader engaged or disinterested. Our goal as editors is to assist the author in bringing their work to market success.

Developmet Coordinator | Helena Knighton

Helenna Knighton brings a gracious blend of professionalism, warmth, and organizational excellence to her role at Citrine Elephant Publishing. With a background in executive support, office management, and human resources coordination, she excels in clear communication, attention to detail, and building meaningful connections. Her experience supporting leadership teams and managing dynamic environments allows her to anticipate needs, foster collaboration, and nurture strong author and community relationships, making her a valued, people-centered member of the team.

Website Manager | Scarlets Dreams Studios

Scarlets Dreams Studios is a small independent studio run by the V-tuber Scarlet, also known as Scarlets Dreams. The studio partners with both individuals and companies, offering creative freelance services such as website design and management, stream overlays, background illustrations, and more. With over eight years of experience in the creative industry, Scarlet is dedicated to bringing each project to life with care.

Titles

Brenna Berquam

I never set out to become an attorney or a writer. My soul feels most at home in the woods, on a mountain trail, or—if I’m lucky—on horseback. Environmental law first drew me to law school, but everything shifted when my son suffered a traumatic brain injury at a Washington community college that lacked a concussion protocol. Since then, I’ve devoted myself to finding therapies that might help him heal and to understanding the invisible injuries that so many endure. In that journey, I’ve discovered a misunderstood community—people living with brain trauma who are too often dismissed or ignored. My writing now serves a purpose: to educate the public about the dangers of microscopic brain injuries, the kind that don’t show up on standard imaging but can alter a life forever. This experience has reshaped how I see the world. It’s taught me to extend grace, knowing that we rarely see the full weight others carry. Advocacy has become second nature, and writing is my way of making sense of the fight—of translating pain into clarity and compassion. When I need to recharge, I return to nature: the mountains, the beach, the forest. These places remind me who I am and why I keep going.

Kendra Reid

Hi, I’m Kendra! I’m a new author with a deep love for reading and storytelling, a passion that’s been with me since childhood. I’m also a proud mom to two amazing kids who inspire me every single day. When I’m not writing, you’ll usually find me planning my next adventure, exploring new places, or cooking up something delicious in the kitchen. Writing is my way of sharing pieces of myself, and I’m so excited to connect with readers who share the same love for stories.

Teiyana Muse

My name is Teiyana Muse, and I am a proud mother of two amazing sons—a 31-year-old and my youngest, Delmus Zaccur, who was born with Down syndrome and intellectual disabilities and has been my greatest blessing and teacher. For 28 years, I dedicated my career to working with youthful offenders in Juvenile Probation, but in 2018, after my youngest was born, I made the difficult decision to step away and devote myself fully to his care. That choice became the beginning of a new calling as a caregiver, advocate, and voice for my son, while also supporting and empowering other families on similar journeys. Today, I work in the disability community, providing resources to parents and caregivers, ensuring Zaccur receives the love and advocacy he deserves, and inspiring others to walk in faith over fear. I am proud to be part of For the Love of…, sharing my story so families know this journey is real—and that they are not alone.
